Last week Rowan class began making music without instruments. Following our cinema trip to watch BBC Ten Pieces, the children showed great enthusiasm in attempting to replicate one of the ten pieces. In groups children investigated how they could use their bodies to make different types of sounds. Through combing these sounds the children began to develop their own rhythmical beats.
