Readers' Theatre is a reading activity which involves reading a script aloud in a small group. Last week in Year 4, the children have taken a script from their class novel 'The Bad Guys' and worked in small groups to take turns to speak. They have applied their reciprocity skills to work alongside others and their resourcefulness skills to act imaginatively.
During this session, the children were concentrating on maintaining eye contact with their audience and displaying confidence when reading aloud as well as using tone and expression.
The Year 4 staff have been blown away by the children's acting skills, a huge well done to all of the children.
