World Book Day!

As I am sure you are all aware, today is World Book Day. To mark this occasion, our school hall was transformed into our very own 'Vue Cinema' screen, with all the necessary amenities - most importantly, popcorn!

The children had to hand in their cinema ticket to the attendants and settle into their seats ready for the film showing...take a look:

The children were then given the task of creating their own unique ending to the story of 'Rapunzel' after watching part of the film 'Tangled' in our cinema. Some decided to take a more modern twist to the tale.

Tomorrow, the children are able to take part in our competition 'Who would read a book like this?' where they have the chance of winning a book if they can match the book to the teacher!
