And just like that, we have come to the end of the first half term. The time has flown by and the children have worked exceptionally hard. Everyone deserves a good rest. To conclude this half term in Maths, the children have been learning about addition and subtraction: including exchanging and regrouping. In Literacy, we have finished writing our narrative poems, inspired by Michael Rosen. We are all excited to see what the next half term holds. 

There have been some children who have word superbly this week and earned themselves a certificate. Well done to all of them.

Year 4 certificates

 It has been another fun filled week in Year 4. The children have been working hard learning to round numbers in Maths. In Literacy they have written an alternative ending to the story we have been reading this term. The children have applied their historical skills when  researching the Egyptian Gods and Goddess: we will be continuing this work into next week. 

This week several children have shone exceptionally bright and earnt themself a certificate. Well done to all of them.
