Certificates - Year 3

 

It's been an excellent week of learning in Year 3 and the children have been working hard all week!

In Literacy, the children continued their work on our book for this half term, 'A Tale of Two Robots'. Last week, the children planned and wrote a letter to the main character of the story, Callum. The purpose of the letter was to ask Callum to build the children's creative and unique robots for them. This week, the children wrote a reply to this letter as Callum. This was their first piece of independent writing in Year 3! Well done to all!

In Maths, the children concluded their work on place value by comparing and ordering numbers to 1000. The children enjoyed their practical lessons this week before completing their end of unit tests and beginning their new topic, Addition and Subtraction.

Cherry Class Spellings

Due to Miss Kenealy being a bit silly on a Monday morning,  Cherry class have been given next weeks spellings by mistake. Can pupils please practise the spellings in their homework books (the spellings below) and next week we will omplete this weeks spellings. After that, we will be back to normal in line with the rest of year 3.
