Year 3 have had another fantastic week of learning!
In Maths, we have started a new topic, properties of shapes, where the children have been developing their understanding of acute, obtuse and right angles as well as having a fun investigation lesson to see if all of their finger measurements add up to the length of their arm!
During Literacy, the children have been acting as wicked old grandma from our book, George's Marvellous Medicine, and they have written some incredible diary entries and presented these to the class.
In RE, the children have been engrossed in the different creation stories. So far, they have learned all about the Christian, Judaism and Hinduism creation stories, comparing them by looking at their similarities and differences.
As always it has been extremely difficult to choose our certificate winners, as each and every one of the children have been super learners.
