Year 3 have had another super week !
In Maths, they have been developing their understanding of dividing two digit by one digit numbers. They have learnt several different methods and discussed which one they preferred and why.
In Literacy, they have been writing their own descriptive setting, using their previous knowledge of expanded noun phrases, fronted adverbials, verbs and adverbs. The children then went on to read aloud their descriptive setting , using intonation, tone and volume.
In science this week, the children have been learning about magnets and used their reciprocity skills to carry out an investigation, predicting which objects they thought would be magnetic and non - magnetic, discussing their reasoning behind it.
