Year 4 Riverboat Trip 2018

Today, all of year 4 ventured out into the capital to spend an afternoon on a riverboat cruise! Taking the trusty TfL line rail from Gidea Park, Birch and Ash ended up beneath the imposing London Eye, ready to board their vessel.

On board, an extra challenge was provided - how many of the 12 London landmarks could the children spot and name?

Once the sun was out, the trip was almost like being on holiday! We had lunch in Jubilee Park with an extra bit of time to play in the impressive adventure play park. Both Ash and Birch represented the school superbly and showed great reciprocity and resilience when working through their challenges together.

"Please can we go on the river cruise again?" asked Alfie

"I've completed all the London landmarks because I recognise them from our earlier navigation trip!" observed Oliver.

A special thanks must go to the additional staff who lean: Miss Barr, Ms Bradley, Mrs Marchant, Mrs Pike, and Mrs Stallard. Your support was greatly appreciated!
