Rowan at the London Transport Museum

On Tuesday, Year 3/4 had an exciting trip to the London  Transport Museum.  We decided what better way to travel there than by public transport so that we can experience first hand what it is like to travel on different forms of transport!

We were really lucky in that we were able to travel back in time to the Victorian times, where we dressed up as different Victorian people and try out the vehicles they would have travelled in.  Then we got to play on all the vehicles in the museum, including buses, trams and trains. there was even a train simulator where we got to see what it is like to be an underground driver!

We all had a fantastic time and it really made our topic of transport this term come to life!

Here are some pictures from the day:

'It was tiring on the way there but when we got there it was really fun. My favourite part was when we had free time to play in the vehicles' - Maria

'It was magnificent! My favourite part was going in the workshop and dressing up!' - Sian

'I thought it was brilliant because we got to see lots of types of transport and got to go inside them' - Matthew

'I think I would give it a 5 star rating because it was fun and you can drive a bus! It feels like you are actually driving the bus! -Jaseem
