On Wednesday, Year 3 had the best day seeing all of the different animals at Colchester Zoo.
We started the day with an educational talk all about plants and animals, where the children were given the opportunity to classify different leaves using a given key.
After this, the children had a fantastic time looking at all of their favourite animals and learning lots of new and exciting facts.
We all got to have an up close and personal experience with the goats, and the children had the opportunity to feed and stroke them as they walked through the enclosure.
We finished the day with a lot of very tired, but very happy children.
