The children in Year 3 have been thoroughly engaged in their
learning about diary entries. This week, they took the challenge of applying
their acquired skills, incorporating their carefully planned ideas to craft
their unique diary entries. They demonstrated an impressive understanding of
the key features and effectively utilised engaging vocabulary to captivate
their readers. The resulting diary entries were truly exceptional.
The children have made progress in their
understanding of dividing a two-digit number by a one-digit number, including
the concept of remainders. Additionally, they have explored the effective
application of scaling, where they were provided with information and then had
to apply it to either a smaller or larger quantity. To enhance their learning
experience, the children engaged in activities that allowed them to explore
real-life examples.
