Year 3 Certificates

It's been a wonderful week of learning in year 3, here's what we have been learning about this week.

In Maths, the children continued their learning on the topic of money and were able to identify different coins and notes. The children then built on this learning by adding and subtracting amounts from a total amount, ensuring they used the correct symbol in the correct place. The children used coins and notes to support their learning. Well done Year 3!

In Literacy, Year 3 began the week by reading their story for this half term, 'Stone Age Boy'. This allowed them to place the events of the story in chronological order for their plans. Later in the week, the children were able to use their knowledge of Stone Age Boy to retell the story in our shared write.

This week, the children were able to make the most of the weather and venture outside for our survival skills afternoon. It was also a pleasure to welcome so many parents along to our final stay and learn session in Year 3.
