Thank you to everyone who came to our first Stay and Learn session for Year 3, it was lovely to see so many of you there.
Our focus was Reading and the ways in which the children can succeed in reading in Year 3. From discussing the national curriculum expectations, having a glimpse into what a reading session looks like in Year 3, and seeing the resourceful and reflective ways your children work both independently and together to answer inference and retrieval questions related to a picture or text. It was lovely for parents to be able to support the children to complete the reading tasks around the classroom.
