Year 4 Easter Bonnets

Year 4 Easter Bonnet Celebration

This week, our Year 4 children took part in a wonderfully creative and joyful Easter tradition – designing and making their very own Easter bonnets!

From the very beginning, the children approached this project with great enthusiasm and care. Each design was carefully thought out, with pupils taking time to plan how their bonnets would look and what materials they would need. It was fantastic to see such thoughtful preparation, with children bringing in a wide range of resources to bring their ideas to life.

The results were truly impressive. Every bonnet was unique, creative, and beautifully made, showcasing the children’s imagination and effort. From bright spring flowers and colourful eggs to chicks, bunnies, and intricate patterns, the variety of designs was amazing.

One of the highlights of the experience was when the children had the opportunity to present their bonnets to the class. They spoke confidently about their creations, explaining how they made them and the ideas behind their designs. It was a wonderful moment to celebrate not only their creativity but also their growing confidence in speaking and sharing with others.

To top it all off, the children took part in a delightful Easter Bonnet Parade. Accompanied by music, they formed a cheerful procession, proudly showing off their fantastic creations. There were smiles all around as they enjoyed this special moment together.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, creativity, and enthusiasm shown by all of our Year 4 pupils. Thank you to parents and carers for your support in helping the children bring their wonderful ideas to life – it truly made the event extra special!

We hope you enjoy seeing the bonnets as much as we did!
