Year 4 Wild Passport Day

 Wild Passport Day - Cooking

Year 4 Complete Their Wild Passport Journey!

Our Year 4 children celebrated the final session of their Wild Passport curriculum with an exciting outdoor cooking experience.

To begin, the children recapped how to light a fire safely and demonstrated excellent fire circle etiquette, showing how much they have learned throughout the programme. They then enjoyed cooking delicious mini pizzas and toasted s'mores on sticks over the fire, taking great care to work safely and support one another.

Throughout the session, the children drew upon our 4Rs—Reciprocity, Resourcefulness, Reflectiveness and Resilience—to be the best learners they could be. Whether helping a friend, solving problems independently, reflecting on their learning or persevering with new challenges, they embodied these learning behaviours every step of the way.

To round off their Wild Passport journey, the children took on one final orienteering challenge, using their teamwork and navigation skills to complete the course with enthusiasm and determination.

It has been wonderful to watch the children grow in confidence, develop new outdoor skills and embrace every challenge throughout the Wild Passport curriculum. Well done, Year 4, on completing your Wild Passport adventure!
