Cherry & Cedar Class move out!

As per the letter that went out to parents, from the 6th January 2020 Cedar & Cherry Class will be moving to Larch & Maple classrooms respectively.

On the morning of 6 January, an adult will be stationed in Cedar & Cherry old classrooms, to direct children who may not know where to go.

For Larch, Cedar children can enter from the door up near the halls, or the entrance on the right of Elm Class. Cedar children have been shown where Larch is, so should know where to go.

At hometime Cherry will be dismissed from the back of Maple classroom where the name of the classroom can be seen.
Cedar will be dismissed next to Elm class (on the right).

Any questions you have please ask the office or class teachers.

Merry Christmas!

Year 4 Christmas Carol Performance

We warmly invite you to join Year 4 for a Christmas celebration on Tuesday 10th December at Harold Hill Evangelical Free Church, Romford (Bridgwater Road, RM3 7UA)

The service last year was a huge success and we are very excited about working alongside our local parish again. The children have all worked very hard during the preparations recently.

After school on Tuesday 10th we would like all the children in Year 4 to stay in school so that we can walk to the church together and make sure everyone is prepared and ready. We will provide pizza and refreshments before the church service for all the children. If your child does not like pizza, please provide them with a snack to eat after school.
We would love to see as many of the family members there as possible. If you are able to attend, please arrive at the church at 4.45pm for a 5:00 start. If you are unable to attend, please ensure somebody is able to collect your child at 6.00pm from the Church.

We look forward to welcoming you to this event and would like to thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely,

The Year 4 Team

Year 4 Panto Trip!

We are delighted to inform you that a trip has been booked for our Year 4 children. The trip will allow the children to experience a pantomime at the Queen’s theatre. The Robin Hood production has sparkling sets, colourful costumes, tunes that everyone knows, lots of laughter and most importantly plenty of audience participation.

The Year 4 children will be visiting the Queen’s theatre on Thursday 5th December 2019, the performance will begin at 10:00am. All children should be in school by 8:45am as we will be leaving at 9:15am. We expect to arrive back at school at approximately 1.00pm so the children will need to either bring in a packed lunch or order a School packed lunch to eat as soon as we get back to school. The children will be given popcorn and drink during the show and will have the opportunity to have a piece of fruit.

The children will be travelling via bus to and from Queen’s theatre. The children will be accompanied by teachers and support staff from the school. Please ensure children have warm coats and are wearing appropriate footwear.

The trip costs £700 in total for the Year 4 classes so we are asking for a contribution of £10 per child to cover part of the pantomime ticket price. Please make your contributions on sQuid. If you have any questions or queries about payment, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.
This is an exciting opportunity for the children to experience a pantomime. We thank you for your continuing support.
