This week has been a fantastic week in year 3! They have delved into their length and perimeter lessons including being introduced to measuring and calculating perimeter!
In Literacy, they have enjoyed writing shape poems, including a volcano shape poem representing the volcano from our book, Escape from Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius.
On Wednesday, year 3 consolidated their understanding of human and physical features by going around Harold Hill to identify the different features in their local area.
As always, it has been so tricky to pick just a few children to give awards to as all of our children have worked incredibly hard, but we do have our week 6 certificate winners.
