This half term, the children in Year 3 will be practising and consolidating their knowledge all about place value.
The children have been working with numbers up to 1000, using scaffolds and manipulatives to help them.
They have used place value boards to write the numbers in numerals, draw the base ten to the correct value and show the number using dienes. Some of the children have used their resourcefulness skills to challenge each other to make the highest 3 digit number!
All of the children have been working extremely hard to complete their tasks and challenges, and the Year 3 team are very proud of them.
