It has been another wonderful week of learning in Year 3 and the children have settled into their new classrooms well and are already producing some fantastic work.
In Literacy, the children continued focusing on their story for this half term, A Tale of two Robots, and started the week by looking back at their own robot designs. They then used their designs to create a robot passport, which included information such as their robots special skill or feature. Later in the week, the children were looking at conjunctions to extend sentences and were able to write their own sentences using conjunctions.
In Maths, the children continued on their focus of place value by representing numbers to 100 and 1000 using the dienes and place value charts. The children have made excellent progress in this area throughout the week and should be very proud of their efforts. Well done Year 3.
