Year 3 Certificates

It's been an wonderful week in Year 3 and the children have been working hard to make progress in their learning.

         Let's look at the story of this week...

In Literacy, the children started the week by reading their story for this half term 'Stone Age Boy'. They then used their knowledge of the book to summarise the beginning, middle and end of the book. This was important information which allowed them to plan and write their own shared retelling of the story. Excellent work Year 3!

In Maths,  the children used their knowledge of adding and subtracting using the column method to add and subtract numbers across a hundred. It was good to see everybody making progress and remember to carry over numbers into the correct columns. Great work everybody!
