Year 4's have a terrific time outside.

A massive thank you to parents for ensuring Year 4 were prepared with a change of clothes for our fantastic whole-day outdoor Wild Passport Day's this week.

The children started the day with a game of foxes and squirrels, which required team work, strategy and Quick Thinking.

The children became nature detectives, working in groups on a scavenger hunt. They closely studied minibeasts, footprints, and leaves to successfully solve a complex riddle, demonstrating excellent Reciprocity.

They finished the day with an exciting orienteering challenge across the school grounds. Even when the maps proved difficult, the children showed immense Resilience and Resourcefulness to complete the trail. What a wonderful day of discovery and perseverance!

"We completed our third Trail Miss, our second was done in 10 minutes!" - Vikhyat and Chirag, Elm Class
"Everyone has done better than us on the orienteering activity, we can do better next time" - Roza and Bella, Elm Class

"I loved identifying the different insects! I hadn't looked at them as closely before"- Edie, Maple

"I can't believe how many different types of leaves we have in our school!"- Kai, Willow
