Subtraction Speed Challenge

After successfully completing all of their subtraction work in Maths today Lucy Stevens and Natalie Towner faced the subtraction speed grid. The girls successfully solved 16 questions in under 2 minutes. A fantastic achievement girls, keep up the hard work!

This afternoon in Rowan class we have been looking at the difference between contact and non contact forces. After giving our predictions we took our learning outside where we used various equipment including large balls, javelins, hoops and the slide. Following our scientific investigation we  recorded our findings of which forces we used including push and pull.

The new members of Birch class have spent some time this afternoon exploring their new classroom by completing a treasure hunt. They are now fully aware of where to find things and are settling in well.
