Tongue twisters in Year 3

Year 3's tongues were tied in Literacy this morning as they tried to perform a range of tricky tongue twisters as part of their new poetry unit. They realised that the faster they read them, the harder it was!

They explored the main poetic device that was used and the effect it had. In this case, it was alliteration where two or more words near each other in a sentence begin with the same sound.

Great job Year 3! Can you think of any of your own tongue twisters at home?
