Dogs Trust Workshop

This week the year 4s were lucky to have a visit from Dogs Trust. They learned about the important role that dogs have played in war, and how they are trained and cared for. Military dogs listen to classical music to keep their environment calm, and on hot days can cool off in a pool. There were a lot of dog owners in the class and we discussed how each dog's needs are different, depending on their weight, size and breed. It is important to ensure dogs have a comfortable environment, are exercised according to their needs, have access to water during the day, and should never be left alone for more than 4 hours.
