Stone Age Art

Rowan have been learning about the methods Stone Age man would of used to creat their wall art. Our learning has taken us outside were we experimented with natural materials including soil,sand,bark,grass and even orange peel. It was thought that animal fat would have been mixed with these to create colour,so we added lard and used these to produce markings. In our discussion we agreed on how difficult it would of been to produce artwork onto cave walls. We tested this ourselves using the underside of tables.
