Broadford's learning power of the term is resourcefulness and certain children in year 3 have been using their 'bits and bobs' to help them with their learning.
This week in maths Leo and Aimee were finding their three chili question on fractions quite challenging!
To help them, they drew the problem out on their whiteboards.
This helped them understand exactly what fractions the shapes were equivalent to, so they could work out the total of both shapes in fractional form.
Using their resourcefulness learning power, they solved the challenging problem with ease!
Great job Leo and Aimee!
