Congratulations to Grace Gore for creating a great piece of descriptive writing, based on a visit to the funfair. Grace was able to use appropriate adjectives to create 2A sentences, used a range of adverbs to add extra description and focused on using fronted adverbials to create a clear image for her audience. Grace decided that her favourite sentence that she created was 'As soon as they arrived, the children were so excited to go on the rides, they felt as if it was their birthdays...' because she had incorporated a simile in her writing to add extra detail. Phenomenal piece of writing Grace, a pleasure to read.
