Play scripts in year 4

Year 4’s new Literacy unit is Playscripts and we have been enthusiastically learning about all the different conventions. Students know that stage directions are given in brackets and have been putting their acting skills to the test by acting out these instructions. Children have been busy writing their own scripts based on our guided reading book ‘There’s a boy in the girls bathroom’ and we can’t wait to read them!!

Here we have Isabelle, Riley, Vinnie, Bonnie, Ollie, Megan and Keira getting into character and acting out the example text. They received a huge round of applause due to their terrific scene!
