Wow, what a fantastic first week back in Year 3! The children have enjoyed a fun filled week of learning. In Literacy, they have been introduced to their new book George's Marvellous Medicine! They used their inference skills to predict what the book might be about and developed their understanding of past, present and future tense.
In Maths, they have started their new topic of Time. The children have used clocks to help them understand 'o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to' as well as develop their understanding of 5 minute intervals.
We have been so proud of the children's hard work during their first week back and can't believe it is our last term together!
As always, it is hard to choose our winners as everyone has worked extremely well this week but here our are week 1 winners:
