Wow, what a fun filled week for Year 3!
In Literacy, the children have finished reading their book, George's Marvellous Medicine! They started the week by summarising the book using a story map, they then moved on to learn all about narrative features so they are prepared to write their own version of George's Marvellous Medicine next week!
On Tuesday, they were able to take part in their Sports day activities! They had lots of fun completing the activities in their houses, showing fantastic reciprocity skills by helping each other and cheering each other on.
On Wednesday, we had the best time at Colchester Zoo. The children attended a lesson about plants and animals, they then moved on to see lots of amazing animals such as the lions, giraffes, elephants and many more!
As always it has been extremely difficult to choose our certificate winners, as each and every one of the children have been super learners.
