Well done to all of the children in Year 3 this week! They have worked extremely hard.
In Maths, they have been developing their understanding of their 3 times tables and how to multiply and divide by 3. They have used their resourcefulness skills by using dienes and cubes to help them when multiplying and dividing.
In Literacy, they have been identifying key features of a newspaper report such as using third person, the 5 w's (who, what, where, when and why) and the past tense. This will help them when they write their very own newspaper report about our book 'The King who banned the dark.'
They have been practicing for their upcoming Christmas concert! We cannot wait to see you all on Monday to share their festive spirit.
