Year 3 have had another super week !
What a great start to the week we had, with our Egyptian Wow Day ! Everybody looked amazing in their outfits and showed great resilience when completing the different activities. We had some amazing mummification and wonderful Egyptian dancing across the year group.
In Maths, they have been developing their understanding of comparing and converting different lengths. The children have been working practically with their peers, demonstrating great reciprocity skills, when measuring each others height and making comparisons between them.
In Literacy, they have been writing their own balanced argument, looking at both reasons for and against 'Living Forever', the children came up with some great points for both sides of the argument and produced some super work.
In science this week, the children concluded their learning about magnets and used their resourcefulness skills to create a magnetic game with their partner. The children, designed, made and evaluated their games together, using scientific language to explain their findings.
