On Wednesday, year 4 visited London as part of their geography topic, landmarks. In groups of ten they planned the five landmarks they would visit and then in twos or threes, planned the route using trains, the underground and walking. The choices were The Shard, Golden Hinde, HMS Belfast, Tower of London, Tower bridge and London bridge. They all were excellent at their planning the route needed and were able to take the adults to the planned landmarks. After lunch in the Jubilee gardens, we made our way to the cable cars in North Greenwich where we crossed over the Thames with spectacular views. The children were well-behaved and a credit to our school. All the staff would like to thank the adults who supported us, as without them the trip would not be possible. I hope you enjoy a few of the photos.
The teachers in year 4 would like to say a huge congratulations to all the children for the results in the MTC. This year was phenomanal as 70% scored 25/25 and 92% scored over 20/25. They have worked so hard to achieve this and they deserve a round of applause! Well done! Individual results will be in their reports.
