Literacy inspired Art - Book Club

Today was our last day of Book Club...ahhhh! To mark this occasion, we decided (with the help of Miss Sparks!) to create a display to show all our work on our study of the book 'War Horse'. This will include character profiles, plot trigger analysis, haiku poems and now...artwork!

At lunchtime we designed our own version of the famous War Horse front cover by creating silhouette paintings using water colours and black suger paper.  Take a look at us hard at work:

The display will be appearing in the library after half term.

Thank you to all the children who have attended Book Club this term.  We have worked hard and had a lot of fun too!
