Ash class has been very excited about the sunshine and warm weather. We have been taking our learning outdoors.... measuring, finding angles, and solving fractions in the sunshine!
Hakeem and Holly found obtuse, acute and right angles around the playground.
Bobby uses his right angle finder and finds rights angles at the water table.
Ella and Lucy found sticks with obtuse and acute angles.
Vinnie, Simona and Johnny explore fractions as parts of a whole using chalk and sorting blocks.
Kynan and Lewis use chalk to show 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1/6
Jessica uses chalk to show 1/2, 1/3 and 2/5
Simona, William and Johnny find equivalent fractions using sorting blocks.
Drew and Endurance explore fractions of a whole and use chalk to show what 1/3, 2/5 and 1/2 looks like.
