The Tale of Perseus and Medusa

Today, the children of year 4 were extremely lucky as they were provided with the opportunity to watch a theatre company. As the children are studying Ancient Greece, the company performed the Greek Myth, Medusa and Perseus. The staging, props and characters were fantastic and the children thoroughly enjoyed the performance.

My favourite part was when Perseus took the eye from the scary looking witch because it was comical. - Levan (Sequoia)

Medusa's head was my favourite prop because even though it was spooky it made me laugh. - Jack (Sequoia)

Medusa's head looked very realistic, it brought the myth to life. - Arhaan (Sequoia)

By watching the myth it told me more about the characters. It told us what they were like and what it was like during the Ancient Greek times, they certainly dressed different to us! - Sienna (Sequoia)

I liked how the actors changed characters by using different voices and facial expressions. It made the performance even more enjoyable. - Bradley (Hazel)
