Bus ride through Pakistan

To inspire their descriptive writing this week, students put together a short skit about a bus ride through Pakistan. They were sure to show what they might see, feel, taste, hear and smell in order to cover all the senses. Year 4's then used this to write a paragraph setting the scene of the bus journey using powerful verbs, adjectives and similes. We have had a fantastic start to this unit and the students are very enthusiastic about writing a new episode to the story 'The Sugarcane Juice'.
