In Literacy class, we have been reading There's a boy in the girls' bathroom, by Louis Sachar. The children used their amazing acting skills to role play the conversations between our main character, Bradley and his family members sitting around the dinner table. They really showed how well they understood his lying habit, mum’s concern, and dad’s frustration. We also questioned “Bradley” in the hot seat about how he truly feels about his sister, why he tells such far-fetched tales and of course, what his motives are in his friendship with Jeff. We can’t wait to find out what happens next!
"Bradley just can't stop lying and it wouldn't be fun to be around." - Teddie, Larch
"Perhaps Bradley constantly lies because he wants to be notorious in his class." - Medeea, Birch
