In Science this term, the children have been learning about 'Flowering Plants'. The children have learnt about the parts of a plant and their functions. The children researched each part, using their reciprocity skills to work with their peers, and share the information with the rest of the class. Last week the children made predictions about which shape petals would blossom the quickest and then this week showed great resilience when carrying out their experiment to see if their prediction was correct.
Anya- “It is moving by itself. It is magic.”
Himanshi - “ The flower with the small petals blossomed the quickest.”
Adam H - "I can't believe the flowers actually opened up."
Year 3 have also completed one of their experiences - help a plant grow (bee friendly)
