It's been another wonderful week of learning in Year 3.and this is what we have been learning about this week.
In Literacy, the children started the week by writing a letter to the King who banned the dark. In the letter the children offered suggestions to help the King overcome his fear of the dark. They had lots of great and useful ideas and applied the features of letter writing effectively in their writing. The children then went on to plan a second letter which sought to convince the King of all the reasons why the dark should be banned. It's been a busy week! Well done Year 3
In Maths, the children continued to extend their knowledge of addition and subtraction using the column method. The children were able to add and subtract whilst crossing tens and hundreds. Excellent work Year 3!
