The children started a new science unit this week about Forces.
A force is a push, pull or twist.
Scientists show forces by drawing arrows as above.
Miss Taylor and Mrs Bradley started off with some demonstrations but don't worry the children will get plenty of opportunity to carry out their own experiments as we progress.
After watching the below experiment demonstrating forces. Tilly reflected "Gravity pushes it down and air pushes it up. Alfie also said "The air is pushing it up". During a science quiz Kanishka looked at a picture of Albert Einstein and was able to identify him! A great start to an exciting unit of work Sequoia.
