During the week beginning 23rd May, pupils will be taking part in lots of exciting activities to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee!
Each year group will focus on a decade of the Queen's reign and explore some areas of life in that given decade. Please see below for a schedule for the week (subject to change).

| 2010s | Write letters to the Queen. Design and make pinwheels, crowns, bunting and paper chains. Create a time capsule of memories. Bake scones for Afternoon Tea. Perform Song (Can’t stop the feeling - Justin Timberlake) |
Year 1
| 2000s | Make bunting Create portraits, collages, flags and crowns. Write party invitation Practise and perform a song. |
Year 2
| 1990s | Explore the Royal family tree Design and make hats, flags and bunting. Create a 90s fact file. Practise and perform a song (mmm bop by Hanson) |
Year 3 | 1980s | Create portraits of the Queen & her Corgis Learn about commonwealth countries where the Queen is head of state Design an 80s inspired outfit Create a Platinum Jubilee inspired sandwich. Design a game to be played at garden party Practise and perform a song from the 80s. |
