To continue with our topic, how different religions celebrate important festivals and why, we looked at Sikhism and the Vaisakhi festival.
First, the children had to research Sikhism and find out how and why they celebrate, before learning all about the religion.
To finish of their learning, the children used their reciprocity skills to work together to learn and perform a Bhangra dance, which is a dance that is typically performed during the Vaisakhi festival that celebrates the harvest.
