Year 3 have had another exciting week of learning. All of the children have been absorbed in their learning and we have enjoyed reading their work!
In Literacy, we have developed our skills of instruction writing and the children have written some excellent instructions based on our book, Stone Age Boy. Today, they worked together to edit and evaluate their instructions and presented their work to the class!
In Maths, we have been learning all about equivalent fractions, comparing and ordering fractions and today, we have learned all about adding and subtracting fractions!
In Science, year 3 developed their understanding of the fossilisation process. They were very excited to look at and feel all of the different fossils in class and use a key to identify which fossil they had.
In RE, the children made some lovely lanterns to celebrate Wesak, an amazing Buddhist festival to celebrate Buddha's birthday.
