We have completed another fantastic week in year 3!
In Maths, we have continued with multiplication and division. We have been looking especially at how we can multiply and divide by 3, 4 and 8 as well as developing knowledge of these times tables. Pupils have been working hard and it really shows! The children have been able to group, share and use their knowledge of number to answer a variety of multiplication and division sums! Keep up the good work year 3.
In Literacy this week, we have planned and written our very first newspaper reports! We have had a focus on using the 5 W's, third person and even used quotes. To make sure our work is looking great we have also edited and evaluated our work. This gives the children a great opportunity to adjust any mistakes and celebrate all of their hard work. All pupils have put in great effort as always.
Things are feeling very festive this week, as we have now completed our Christmas Carol Concert! The children have also enjoyed creating our own cards for our local community this week. Finally, we have had a brilliant Christmas jumper day! It was heart warming to see The pupils in their Christmas Couture.
