In Year 3, we’ve been getting hands-on with division using lolly sticks! To help visualise the process, we linked numbers to shapes: since a triangle has three sides, we built triangles to divide by 3, and used squares to divide by 4. Any leftover sticks that couldn't complete a shape were quickly identified as our remainders. It’s been a great way to see the math in action!
