A reminder for shoe boxes:
Year 4 Science afternoon
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are writing to inform you that on Wednesday 22nd November, Year 4 will be taking part in an experiment related to their current Science topic - Environment, Ecology and Evolution.
We have currently been learning about the evolution of animals and animal adaptation. Our next Science focus will be exploring hibernation and we would like each child to create their own cave. They will be taking into consideration the light, sound and temperature for a bear to hibernate over winter.
In order to make this activity possible we would like each child to bring in an empty shoe box that can be transformed into a cave during our lesson. All the other materials will be provided by the school.
Please bring all shoe boxes in by Monday 20th November. We are looking forward to seeing the finished cave designs!
