The Year 3 children had great fun and some interesting ideas as we entered our next unit of work. Sequoia Class found out about the attributes of a good discussion text and the necessity to included statements from both side of the argument.
They played a game called the human scales, in which they were posed with a number of statements, they had to decide if they agreed or disagreed and give a valid reason. Some of the children were very reflective with their reasons.
Lily agreed she said " There must be life because we know there are volcanoes"
Harry disagreed he said "It has not been proven"
