Year 3 Trip - 06.02.19

This Wednesday, Year 3 made the epic journey across London to go to the Natural History Museum. Taking a bus, a train, and a tube each way, Hazel and Sequoia were given time to explore the 'Volcanoes and Earthquakes' part of the museum before being given the opportunity to investigate various specimens in the 'Investigate' section.

The children were incredibly reflective during there investigations.  Alfie carefully weighed his object.  Mitchell closely examined his object under a microscope and concluded that it was a crocodile mouth!

Nancy didn't enjoy the tarantula they had, but Charlie P was intrigued by the crabs!

Although it was a long day, both classes enjoyed the museum experience and have returned to school with their observations and memories.

Thank you very much to our parent volunteers! Your help was invaluable, as ever.

Bonus Question:
What was the name of the type of rock that is created by cooling lava?
Answer in the comments section and the first correct answer will receive 10 house points!
