Making circuits in Year Four!

We have some budding physicists in Year Four as we created our own electrical circuits with batteries as the power source of the circuit.
We made circuits using a power source, wires which conduct electricity, and an appliance (in this case, a light). Our children worked so well in their teams to create complete, closed circuits to ensure the electricity can travel around the circuit from the battery to the appliance.

"It's so interesting that every circuit needs a power source to work," Olivia, Ash.
"The bulb lights even when you don't have holders, you just need to hold everything together and keep the circuit closed," Ryan, Larch.
"A closed circuit is when all the equipment is joined together," Archie, Birch.
